Over the past few years, I’ve learned a lot about what truly transforms a person’s health for the better. Along the way, I’ve documented best practices and essential insights related to diet, rest, exercise, and stress management—and I use these insights to help my clients build a strong foundation of health.
Every client’s needs are unique, but I’ve found that those who achieve the most success start with a strong foundation - one unique to their needs. With that foundation in place, they can handle almost anything life throws their way.
What Is a Wellness Foundation, and Why Does It Matter?
A wellness foundation is free of fluff and frill. It’s the core of your health that keeps you grounded at all times. It’s not fancy—it’s tough. It’s strong and enduring. Your foundation is made up of habits and routines that become a natural part of who you are, there for you even when the winds of life pick up and try to knock you down. Things like eating a balanced diet rich in protein, keeping your blood sugar stable, moving your body daily, and taking moments to meditate all work together to keep you grounded and support your body as a whole.
Here’s the thing: building a wellness foundation doesn’t require the shiny tools and gadgets we all love. While those can be helpful, they aren’t necessary to live a vibrant and healthy life. What matters most is the way you eat your food, the relationship you build with your mind and body, and the care and attention you show yourself every day. This is the foundation I help clients build and strengthen through my 1:1 coaching.
