The Power of Accountability
Introduction: The Missing Link in Women’s Wellness
While running functional lab tests – bloodwork, GI Maps, hormone tests, food sensitivity tests – are a cornerstone of my practice, the heart of LIVE BIG lies in health coaching. As a Women’s Health Coach and advocate, I’ve seen that accountability, support, and guidance are fundamentally missing components in the health and wellness space. From traditional Western medicine to even some naturopathic and functional practitioners, many women are left feeling just as isolated and confused as before. Many feel like they are left with little support and direction after their initial sessions.
What Makes LIVE BIG Different?
At LIVE BIG, I offer the Total Body Wellness (TBW) program—a comprehensive, full-service package. This program combines functional lab testing with 12 transformative 1:1 health coaching sessions. People often ask, “What exactly happens in these sessions?” The answer is simple: this is where the magic happens. As your “guide on the side,” I help you craft a vision or north star for your life, typically centered around your health. We celebrate your wins, answer your questions, set meaningful goals, talk about habits, course-correct protocols, tackle obstacles, and dive into health education. What makes LIVE BIG different is that women actually have a space to feel heard and finally get the support they need.
Health Coaching vs. Everything Else
These sessions are invaluable. So many clients come to me after trying other programs or working with different practitioners, still feeling like they’re navigating their health journey alone. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space for you to share your hopes, dreams, doubts, and everything in between. Through coaching, I empower my clients to take ownership of their journey and gain confidence in their ability to achieve their goals.
Health coaching is not therapy; while we may touch on past experiences, our focus is forward-looking. I’m also not “the expert” in the room—you are. You know your life best, and my role is to inspire, challenge, support, and hold you accountable to the vision you’re creating for yourself.
Finding Your Health Accountability Partner
Not everyone can hire a health coach, and that’s okay. While a health coach may serve as your accountability partner, this person could also be your spouse, friend, sibling, or coworker—someone who has your back as you work toward your goals. Ideally, this person is also invested in their own health journey, so that you can support each other along the way.
Your goals don’t have to be the same for this to work. For example, you might be focusing on establishing an earlier bedtime, while your accountability partner is trying to incorporate a regular running routine into their exercise schedule. The key is having someone to check in on you, cheer you on, and make you feel supported throughout your journey. While a health coach is trained to do this in a more official capacity, having someone in your everyday life who’s rooting for you can make all the difference. A cheerleader who knows your challenges and successes can create additional layers of motivation and encouragement, making it easier to stay consistent and push through obstacles.
Conclusion
At LIVE BIG, health coaching is about more than just checking boxes—it’s about real transformation. Whether you’re looking to improve your health or redefine your relationship with wellness, the TBW program offers the structure, accountability, and support you need. When we work together, we aren’t just making short-term changes; we’re building a foundation for lasting health and empowerment. You don’t have to navigate your journey alone—let’s walk it together.
